100% handpicked on 27 February 2023. Whole bunch vacuum bladder pressed, with settling overnight. Fermented and Matured in aged French oak barrels over 3 months. Blended and matured in stainless tank for a further 6 months. 260 doz bottled 02 December 2024. Unfined and unfiltered." Additional Context: Sourced from the Coldstream vineyard (120m above sea level, North-South aspect, sedimentary sandstone over bedrock), planted in Spring 2021.
Viticulture
Situated at 150m above sea level, planted in the early 1980s. Similar to the Homeblock, the Melba block vines are all cared for by hand, 100% cane pruned to ensure best quality fruit is grown and hand harvested. Read Less
